AT SELANGOR


National Zoo


Housing more than 4,000 different animals, Zoo Negara (the National Zoo) is conveniently located 13 km away from Kuala Lumpur city centre. The zoo features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic animals. It will be a good experience seeing the animals up close and if the walk is too strenuous for you, simply hop onto the train to go around the zoo with brief stops around the area.

Sepang International Circuit

The internationally-recognized Sepang International Circuit comes alive whenever shows like F1, GP racing, motorcross, big wheel and 4x4 driving comes along. Set on a 5.542km – long track, the Sepang International Circuit is a place not to be missed if you are a fan of speed or roaring machines.


Sunway Lagoon

Looking for a place to go for a wet and wild experience but constrained by the distance? Think no further! Located in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Sunway Lagoon is the first water themed park in Malaysia.

A fun-filled theme park for the entire family, you can expect twin speed slides, giant waterfall, surf beach and loads of other things that will make you scream for more. And visit the Extreme Park for a pack of adrenaline rush. Strictly not for the faint hearted


Pulau Indah

Near Pulau Ketam is Pulau Indah (Beautiful Island in Malay), an island where visitors can experience life in a traditional Malay village. This is the best place to enjoy the rustic and laidback charms of kampung (village) life, set amidst lush greenery and the Straits of Malacca. Pulau Indah is also the location of Klang's new West Port and cruise terminal.

This West Port is almost for commercial and industrial hub of the country as well as the country's most populous region ensures that the port plays a pivotal role in the economic development of the country. Based on a Government directive in 1993, Port Klang is currently being developed as the National Load Centre and eventually a hub for the region.

Pulau Ketam


Pulau Ketam, or literally translated "crab island" is a small island located off the coast of Klang. The best place to witness the unique lifestyle of fishermen, the island is easily accessible from the Port Klang jetty by ferry. The "floating houses" that come to view as visitors approach the island is a sight to awe any city slickers.

Homestay facilities are readily available. Seafood is a natural wonder of this isle, and Pulau Ketam is renowned for fresh crabs, prawns and fish. It is indeed a seafood gourmet's paradise!
